Young Arizonans with diabetes and their families should celebrate birthdays like anyone else – not worry about the state taking away a vital diabetes management tool. DLC Vice Chair Larry Ellingson, RPh, a retired pharmacist and Arizona resident, is calling on the director of Arizona's Medicaid program to revise recent formulary decisions that will unnecessarily disrupt kids' access to continuous glucose monitors (CGM). CGM systems are not interchangeable. Give people with diabetes, regardless of age, access to the right system for their diabetes.
